Security Advisory: Moderate
Identify and remediate systems affected by this advisory.
An update for puppet is now available for Red Hat OpenStack Platform 16.2.4 (Train).
Red Hat Product Security has rated this update as having a security impact of Moderate.
A Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) base score, which gives a detailed severity rating,

Puppet lets you centrally manage every important aspect of your system using a
cross-platform specification language that manages all the separate elements
normally aggregated in different files, like users, cron jobs, and hosts,
along with obviously discrete elements like packages, services, and files. Provides the central puppet server daemon which provides manifests to clients.
The server can also function as a certificate authority and file server. This puppet headless subpackage may be used when there is no need to
have puppet agent running as a service, for example, in a container
image.
Security fix(es):
puppet: silent configuration failure in agent: (CVE-2021-27025)
